I am a forward thinking designer but also a purist to my core. I am a considerate and compassionate leader, and I love to mentor next-gen designers. I have been directing teams, and designing apparel collections professionally for twenty four years. My creativity is heavily influenced by simple utilitarian concepts, and I am a believer that less is more, simple does not mean boring, and if it does not serve a purpose it should not exist.

My experience has allowed me to take part in developing many brands from concept through production and has given me extensive insight into various facets of the fashion industry. Most recently I worked as the Senior Designer for Frye Boots (Apparel), designing and developing a large portion of collection; and prior to that, Directing the Design for, and facilitating the launch of, Madewell Men’s for J.Crew.
